Word of mouth is a perfect way to discover people and I think has kept Laurie in print since she died. Take care, thank you so much for your comment and have a bright and happy week, Jo xxAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05659392802742964854noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4475700147923367620.post-45018584998908105572012-07-15T11:49:37.811-07:002012-07-15T11:49:37.811-07:00What a fabulous post. One of my favourites recipe books is Kitchenella by Rose Prince, a book about being a woman and having a family as much as it is a book about food (and it's a great cookery book).<br /><br />Have you ever come across Persephone Books? They are a wonderful bookshop and publisher based in London who specialise in bringing long out of print female authors back into print - one of their most famous being Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, which was recently made into a film. I highly recommend you look at their website if you haven't already! (Also, their books have gorgeous grey covers with lovely artwork and end papers...I do love a nice book cover!)<br /><br />Sorry, what a ramble!
