Lost a bit of my blogging way just now- I am sure I will find a way back soon.
So for now;
1. 70's and 80's Shirley Hughes for the bundles. Loved her when I was wee and they love her now.
2. New green thrifted wineglasses- kitchen glasses as I call them.
3. Two cheeky monkeys!
That's all for now and have a lovely week everyone, Jo xx
I love the Alfie and Annie Rose books too! I've only got a few by Shirley Hughes but they make me feel so nostalgic for a care-free childhood; I hope I can give our children a similar treasured nostalgia for them to reflect back on when they grow up...
ReplyDeleteI'm also loving reading them Mog books :-)
Thanks Soph, Finn is a bit fixated with one particular story but I am happy to read it as I see more lovely things each time I look at the illustrations. Totally with you on the childhood memories. Need to get together again soon, Jo cx

DeleteHello Lovely. You know I've been without internet access for 4 days and whilst I missed it, I also quite liked not having the pressure of email/blogging/social media etc. Take a break, breathe and then come back to it fresh. It does you the world of good! x
ReplyDeleteI loose my blogging way now and then as well. I think, if you don't, some questions should be asked. ;)
ReplyDeleteLook at that gorgeous red hair!
Hi! My 2 are a bit older and my mum just bought them Shirley Hughes' new book. Her first for older children. I am going to pinch it! I have Lucy and Tom's Christmas which I adore. Her stories are just so good! I just found your blog and I am really enjoying reading so no mojo worries! :) Nick x
