We wrung the very last out of the days before the boy started school- a long weekend in Dunoon. Sunny days and a secret beach that was breathtakingly beautiful. Ostell Bay near Tignabruich- no signs, just the sight of the bay on the map and lots of cars parked in a layby told us it was something special.
What a nice way to spend the weekend before the new school term starts. We have another to weeks to enjoy or endure, depending on my state of mind!
ReplyDeleteThat hidden bay looks beautiful. x
Thanks Gillian- my boy started school for the first time so it was weighing on our minds a bit. In the end he was absolutely fine, including shhooing us out of the classroom! Hope you enjoy/survive the last few weeks of your hols! Jxx

DeleteOoh it looks so lovely there. We have another couple of weeks of summer hols and then Elizabeth starts school. Im quite nervous for her, though I'm sure she will be fine. She loves going to nursery to see her friends and is very excited about school so hopefully it will go ok.
ReplyDeleteI have nominated you for an award over on my blog, hope you don't mind. Have a great weekend. xx
Hi Caroline, You know he was fine and so were we but I have to confess when they were out with their Dad this morning I was quite tearful- just a reaction to it I guess. I am sure your Elizabeth will get on really well too, enjoy those last few weeks, and thanks again for the award that is very very kind, Jxx
