Life, loves, family and home.
I love the Alfie and Annie Rose books too! I've only got a few by Shirley Hughes but they make me feel so nostalgic for a care-free childhood; I hope I can give our children a similar treasured nostalgia for them to reflect back on when they grow up...I'm also loving reading them Mog books :-)
Thanks Soph, Finn is a bit fixated with one particular story but I am happy to read it as I see more lovely things each time I look at the illustrations. Totally with you on the childhood memories. Need to get together again soon, Jo cx

Thanks Caroline, it does not stay there for long I can tell you! The wee one wiped her nose on it and it is now in the wash. Often it's found scrumpled in a corner!! Thanks for visiting and commenting, jxx
Your bundles are adorable :-) I'm also a bit 'stuck' with my blogging at the moment but it has more to do with lack of time than anything else... x

Shirley Hughes is one of my favourite writers. Actually will put about her on one of my lists. You might not be inspired to blog at the moment (it happens from time to time) but you have inspired me so thank-you x
Thanks Karen, I really appreciate your comment. Yes I am definitely on the search for more Shirley! Jo xx
Hello Lovely. You know I've been without internet access for 4 days and whilst I missed it, I also quite liked not having the pressure of email/blogging/social media etc. Take a break, breathe and then come back to it fresh. It does you the world of good! x
I loose my blogging way now and then as well. I think, if you don't, some questions should be asked. ;)Look at that gorgeous red hair!
Hi! My 2 are a bit older and my mum just bought them Shirley Hughes' new book. Her first for older children. I am going to pinch it! I have Lucy and Tom's Christmas which I adore. Her stories are just so good! I just found your blog and I am really enjoying reading so no mojo worries! :) Nick x
It is always amazing to know you read and comment - so thank you very much.
